A silver sovereign holder, of circular form with plain polished exterior, with articulated central mechanism with push release button for full sovereign to one side and half sovereign to the other, 3.2cm wide, together with a late Victorian silver rectangular case by Cohen & Charles, Chester 1900, with with three division gilt interior, monogrammed initials to exterior 'RS', 6cm x 3.3cm, gross weight of pair 1.99ozt (2)

Sovereign holder: Overall good, moderate small dents to outer surface, also general scratching and wear consistent with use. Push button mechanism working correctly, lid closes but small gap is visible. Some denting the sovereign compartment. General scratching and wear to interior.

Case: Overall good, some small dents concentrated at the corners. General scratching, wear and some pitting to surface. Push button mechanism is slightly misshapen - opens and closes with some difficulty, and a small gap is visible at the opening once closed. Moderate wear to gilt interior, general scratching and wear.
